Connor-I'd like to see a picture-maybe I'll try and text you later (I'm kind of old and dont really know much of the texting stuff-*L* but I do have a cellphone).
So the power valve is bad then? (back in the old days we did not have power valves on 2 strokes) if that is your jetting problem you're going to feel like you got a new bike. Full of power.
Well I tried to text you-but dont know what I'm doing and did not send. If you can post a picture please do. Hope you get it all fixed up.

Sorry didnt receive a text, lol. The main power valve is not damaged very bad. a few little scratches but nothing MAJOR. Our best guess is the O-rings and the gaskets. We are replacing the both sub valve with new ones, the springs to the sub valves, all the o-rings and unfortunately the main power valve, the mamjama, the head honcho, The Chief. Its on a NATION WIDE BACK ORDER! so its not possible to find one. and i looked on ebay for hours and couldnt find anything close. the jug is drying as i type from the degreaser we sprayed in the power valve to get all the gunk n junk out. I'm sure it was a good choice to go to a two stroke... Soooooo simple right? -.-

im sure this will start a pssn match, but here goes:
when its running again, motul 800 runs the cleanest for 2 stroke premix and bel ray h1r is a close second. i mix at 50-1. i think those kawi valves are notorious for getting clogged up. prob run awesome once you get it cleaned and resealed.
dont give up!

Wow John thats some serious BS.Are they going belly up or something? Its alright, do it when you can. It SHOULD be running tomorrow. Everybody always tells me to run 32-1 and i do. and i run motul somethin, the bottle is purple :P I am not givin up on the smokers! just tired of dealing with a power valve. one little power valve.

Agree with Nate.
Motul 800 is great. ktm says 60:1 but I just can't feel comfortable there. 45-50:1 for me. I do run heavy at break in though.
