Alright folks, if you've never been to this property then you are missing out. Its located in Bryan, TX (about 1hr 40min from Houston) and is an off road park filled with everything. Single track, grass track, ravines, off and on camber switch backs, hills (HILLS... I mean big ass hills with very steep ups an downs), single track ridge lines and its a ton of fun.
There is a 5-6 mile trail marked for this weekend with brand new arrows. There is some overgrown sections however the Owner has been mowing grass for this weekend and a few of us went up last weekend and cleaned 3+ miles of the trail. Additionally the owner mowed in a new 1/2 mile grass track section to the existing trails making for some great mixed terrain across the entire trail. This not a property for beginner riders however we are hoping to have an easy around the hills by Saturday but no promises.
This is not an official event of any type. I made arrangements to have the Owner open the gate open for any dirt biker to use the property that day. We (volunteers) are making NO money on this event... its just a day to get riders out to promote the sport, meet new people and to give people a chance to ride one of the premo properties around! That being said I need to stress that you are RIDING AT YOUR OWN RISK on this property and will be required to fill out a wavier before riding.
oh, because someone asked: 1.) No camping at this event 2.) No ATV's or RZR's allowed on the trails at this event. The course isn't cut for those type of vehicles.
Online pre entry for our new property Ray's Place is now open. Ray's Place is outside Cameron TX; it has varied terrain with sand and hard pack mix, lot's of dry creeks, and great camping right off the highway.
