if I were you i would ride practice hard for an hour if you have a stock tank you may have to stop the 01 cr250 had the worst fuel milage of any bike i ever rode honda for some reason didn't have their crap together that year.
I ride the same bike and I have to agree that the milage isn't all that great but it will have plenty in the tank for the race.
