I would go for the $3 set, but I will probably be stressing enough trying to find and get signed up. Then do a practice lap early enough to let this 50+ body rest.
How long does a transponder last? I bought one in 07 to race a few of the other X-country's. I guess when they scan it to match to me I will know then if its good.
