You have to move to 50A. And ride a YZ 125. For Real!

Ok, so we have nailed down all the dates and will be posting info on the upcoming year in the next couple of days. Those of you coming to this weekends race at Mataador, we will have some info on it there as well.

Don't know what the TSCEC schedule is yet, but EVERYONE should mark their Calendar for Feb 24th and come ride the Lone Star National Hare & Hound at the Lubbock Trail Riders lease. 50 miles for the short course and 80 for the long. Shotgun start and the first rider to the finish is the winner. You can get a preview of the endure course for our enduro 2 weeks later. We need a big turn out of Texas riders to show the Cali boys how it's done.

Any word on what the class changes are going to be for 2019? I tried to click on the rule book link but it seems to be inactive. I saw a Masters class on Live Laps but no ages associated. Dose this indicate that there are no age limits in the Masters class now?

I'm not speaking officially here David, but it is my understanding (based on input from club members who were at the TSCEC summer meeting) that there will only be one Masters class next year. This does make sense (to me anyway) because if you look at the year end standings there were only a handful out of all 4 Masters class that rode enough races to qualify for year end awards. And we'll still never beat Daryl or Cato (but I'm still gonna continue to try). Just the way it is I guess!

Yes we removed 9 classes and created 2 new ones. We got rid of the 200cc classes and combined them with the 250's. We eliminated the Master Classes and created one Masters class with a age restriction of 40 and older fast guys. Got rid/renamed the Sportsman class to Expert Short Course with a age restriction of 39 and below. Richard's correct, the lack of riders in those mentioned classes just wasn't there. This will help the clubs and circuit to reduce cost, speed up the awards and scoring at the races. Now if the interest and numbers are there in the future we will revisit this.

Looks like I am going to have to get me a flannel shirt and sign up in the Masters class. This will end up being the most competitive class in the whole series. Thanks, David

Cato says that the Cabela's shirts are the best....you don't have to iron them.

The Fun Row are members of the KO Fight Club, which by the way is one of our sponsors. Cato said we finally figured out the mystery of his broken spokes. He said it's ON now!!!!!!!!! PS Richard.... don't be afraid, because Cato got caught by ICE and sent back to China. He won't be racing with us next season.
Earlameyer Budinhagen may ride on the Fun Row and race the women's over 55 class. Giddy Up!!!!!!!!!!!

Is this the right place to ask what a "reliability format" is??... I've been out of the loop for half a year and hopefully will be back for the full next year.
Also, i just signed up for my usual row 1 slot B spot for the year... would love confirmation that it's in since I'm not sure I trust paypal anymore... Thanks!

I'm going to guess that the "reliability format" is a typo on the schedule and it's a regular restart format...
I'm impressed that TSCEC has so many restart format races scheduled for 2019. I am extremely motivated to make it to every single race and maybe a sprint at hidden falls won't be that bad, more rocks and less dust.
Awesome!!
