Don't know what the TSCEC schedule is yet, but EVERYONE should mark their Calendar for Feb 24th and come ride the Lone Star National Hare & Hound at the Lubbock Trail Riders lease. 50 miles for the short course and 80 for the long. Shotgun start and the first rider to the finish is the winner. You can get a preview of the endure course for our enduro 2 weeks later. We need a big turn out of Texas riders to show the Cali boys how it's done.

Any word on what the class changes are going to be for 2019? I tried to click on the rule book link but it seems to be inactive. I saw a Masters class on Live Laps but no ages associated. Dose this indicate that there are no age limits in the Masters class now?

I'm not speaking officially here David, but it is my understanding (based on input from club members who were at the TSCEC summer meeting) that there will only be one Masters class next year. This does make sense (to me anyway) because if you look at the year end standings there were only a handful out of all 4 Masters class that rode enough races to qualify for year end awards. And we'll still never beat Daryl or Cato (but I'm still gonna continue to try). Just the way it is I guess!

Yes we removed 9 classes and created 2 new ones. We got rid of the 200cc classes and combined them with the 250's. We eliminated the Master Classes and created one Masters class with a age restriction of 40 and older fast guys. Got rid/renamed the Sportsman class to Expert Short Course with a age restriction of 39 and below.
Richard's correct, the lack of riders in those mentioned classes just wasn't there. This will help the clubs and circuit to reduce cost, speed up the awards and scoring at the races. Now if the interest and numbers are there in the future we will revisit this.

Looks like I am going to have to get me a flannel shirt and sign up in the Masters class. smile This will end up being the most competitive class in the whole series.

Thanks,
David

Cato says that the Cabela's shirts are the best....you don't have to iron them.

Cato gonna be mad you're giving away one of his speed secrets. I thinks it's probably the flannel boxers that make the difference!:)
