Sounds like you don't have the TORCS "app" on your phone. It has a "messages" column and its not the same as the info that may be posted on the normal website and they will automatically pop up on your phone if you download it and you will get cancellation messages, race location changes, Jackie needing limes for margaritas, etc etc. They sent out a message at 7:59am the morning you wrote this message the race was cancelled. I'd download it only takes a few seconds. I wouldn't rely on updates always being on the website itself.

I don't think my Motorola flip phone does that. I know less about phones than I do suspension! I'll do some homework but TON has always been a great resource for info but I guess newer tech is taking over.
