I'm interested in hearing how that Alta did at Zar's.

I was near the finish when he went through about 1500 but I didn't get the number.

Maybe the rider will post some details.

How long did you/he actually ride it on that charge?

Wasn't me, and not sure. I'm thinking the gauge was low at 70 minutes. He stated he wasn't sure if he would finish. That said the bike never reduced power like it's supposed to at 5%. So not too bad. Another half lap and who knows. He also got the hole shot.

That's just about exactly what the guy told me that I was talking to when the Alta came by.

Guy was waiting on his kid to come through, he couldn't wait any longer and took for the porta john. HAHA

Was that you?

I was the bummed out looking guy with his hand in a splint.

Was really interested in what it's like to not have a clutch...can't modulate power on the climbs, etc.

Obviously you gotta use the throttle but I know my clutch lever has kept me from looping out a few times.

Game changer, don't know? $12k ? pricy considering the battery life, effective? yes, have to wait and see I guess.
