After discussing the forecast with the promoter/land owner, the various indications we have show strong Thunderstorms, with the potential for Tornadoes, for the race area this weekend. For the safety of our riders and members, we are rescheduling the race for the following weekend, Dec. 19th/20th. This was a difficult decision to make ahead of time, but rider and member safety takes priority over racing in the elements, regardless of track conditions. This allows our club to race this event without cancellation in the already short season, while keeping a distance from the holiday weekends that follow. We appreciate your understanding, and look forward to round 2 - we hope that we see everyone at the race!
