Yes, Vintage will kick off around 5:00pm Saturday evening. Same course as the XCD race, just a site seeing tour around town, including Main St., alleys, backyards and then into a nice quiet stroll through a pretty little winding creek bed with lots of shade trees for comfort and mood, then back into town for a continued tour of the historical district and back to the big arrow. Maybe I do need to get that 500 out of my brothers shed!

Rules. We don't need no stinking rules. I bet if you show up with that bike and some green american dollars you can race it!

The Vintage Race is an exhibition race, more of a fun run. I'm pretty sure no one will be checking registration.

This race is exhibition and mostly to celebrate the return to Turkey, The vintage race bike years is following the recommendation from the TVRC. We will be giving away medals for the race winners, therefore need to abide by the pre-1990 recommendation. Our hope is to expand the opportunities next year. Thanks for the excitement and you know that dog can hunt in one of the other races as well.

I noticed the 5pm vintage start time is different from the time on the TSCEC/XCD flyer. Are the rest of the class times still the same? Thanks.

Will sign up be open all day for the XCD? If the riders meeting for the Group 2 race is at 3pm will a person be able to show up at 2pm and still get signed up? Just asking for the people that are driving in from a long was off. Or the locals (like me) who are lazy!

Yes, all other race times are the same, just moving the vintage back to keep from shutting down the town to early.
As far as waiting till the last minute, I wouldn't. We are expecting some nice crowds and excellent racing. I will follow up with sign up times.

Ripster, , cool dude, the course is going to give you everything, Main Street, alleys, side streets, dirt, creek bed, box car and hard wood flooring.

Ok, so here's the secrete scope, temp in Turkey is 50 deg. Snow is melted, moisture is soaking in. All 3 race courses are being finalized and everyone we see has a grin as big as Texas. Living in West Texas means you ride dry, but everyonce in a long while an event occurs and the timing is right and the conditions rival the greatest riding in America. This weekend will be one of those times. Put that new rear tire on that trusty 2 wheeler, scoot w little further up on the tank and twist that throttle hard, IT'S GONNA BE GREAT. Oh, bring a tooth brush, you'll need it after the race! Enduro sign ups start at 1:00 on Saturday.
