Spur the mule ..... The Results will never change .... Who is in the epic battle for the $60 jacket and the $8 dollar plaque ? Who is this mystery person that has photos or some other form of blackmail material that would make the toro staff change the track so he can win this jacket and plaque ? Does someone have it on helmet cam? Should we call in the FBI ? I thought all the soap operas had been cancelled !!!! Like this thread should be ....
Anyone want to wager on how many cry babies we have after poolville ? ( there is this one 3ft tree that hit my knuckle on at the tccra race and I want it taken out! It was by this jump and big hill )

Oh and Dave I don't know if you follow Supercross at all but somebody rolling something while others were jumping ended with 2 broken backs and a broken jaw. Probably should not roll jumps. Just protect us all and take the alternates. Precisely why I DON'T ride Supercross (among a million other reasons). You seem to have a hard time distinguishing between the two and there IS a difference. I don't roll jumps, I jump them, I just don't always clear them, nothing dangerous about that.

Hey penguin, I am curious how you edit your post but it doesn't actually show that it has been edited. HOw does a person do this? It might be a useful trick in the future. Can't be having people know that I had to change what I said . Dave, I am not sure what you are saying. It sounds like you are saying that most of the club hasn't said anything because they don't want to get looked down on by their fellow riders. Which is a reason for some to keep their anonymity. I don't care how y'all look upon me. Which is why I posted something. I also feel that a rule HAS been broken by the way. It is against the rules to cut the track in your favor. It is also against the rules to add track in a rider's favor. Whiiiich is what took place. A rider felt that it would better his standing in the points and he wants a jacket so he asked a few of his buddies that are on the BOD to get the track changed in his favor. Even if it is deceitful and not as blatant as cutting the track it is still cheating. Ok Austin Supercross, Good for you for being so brave. So now since you are being Braveheart and you've made the accusation that a certain single person is responsible for the "Big Jump Conspiracy" then why don't you go ahead and name that person? I know we'd all love to hear who that person is.....If you really have an idea who it was and you don't want to publicly humiliate them then do as Ruck says and come talk to him about it privately. By the way, I'll fess up, it was me...I was the one who saw that big jump and said, "Damn, I"m not doing that sucker, they ought to take that out because I'll surely fall in the pond and drown.." I put a little pressure here, put a little pressure there, spread a few benjamins around and lo and behold, I got my wish, and thank goodness, because I ended up with a second place...my best finish all year! LOL

Oh, and the part about the club not saying anything because they want to keep their anonymity, what's not to understand ?- do you really think that all 4 or 5 hundred members are on this forum? Watch the posts, there are about 30 people who post regularly and probably about another 250 or so that just get on here and read but don't comment because they don't want to get involved - is that really that confusing?

Excuse me for posting in a series I'm not a part of but just my 2 cents. we too use the same properties from year to year, and guess what, we don't run the exact same course each time! He'll put something new in and take things out. They're not trying to help/hurt anyone, just changing things up. Deal with it! good luck in y'alls last 2 rounds.

How about considering what all the TORO Staff/BOD members do good than focusing on the one decision they made that was not in your favor? While some of you are still stuck on what happened one week ago, staff members went to Bonita yesterday to clean up after everyone so that property can still be used in the future (with or without a pond jump) and my family has been spending today, as well as many other days, cutting trail for the last race of the season so that all of you can enjoy it. The TORO Staff/BOD spend much more time discussing/planning/preparing for a single TORO season than in the seven weekends that races are put on. Try enjoying our efforts that we do as volunteers.

Well since you don't follow supercross, let me lay it out for you. A rider doubled a triple jump, that means there are three humps but he only jumped two of them. While another rider tripled the triple, meaning he jumped ALL of them, and then landed on the rider that doubled which caused the riders to both crash. It is not a matter of whether or not your wheels leave the air that makes it dangerous. What makes it dangerous is when a rider is riding up to a jump that is labeled no roll, other riders expect that he is doing so to JUMP the whole jump and do so with the required speed. Not simply allow his tires to come off the ground so that he can satisfactorily say he was not "rolling" the jump so it was ok for him to go over it. When you do your "baby jump" it is proably just as dangerous if not MORE dangerous than simply rolling. When you case a jump I imagine it is something like the practice lap video that was posted. You land and for a second are not entirely in control, or atleast less than normal. Which for a rider that is coming up with speed to do the entire jump could cause some serious complications. So I say again. If you are not jumping the entire jump PLEASE do not go over something labeled no role if you do not plan to jump the ENTIRE jump. If we are ever at the track together I would be more than happy to work with you, and anyone else, so that you can get over jumps in their entirety and help keep others safe while also improving your overall ability as a rider. FREE OF CHARGE. I have helped quite a few people get over jumps at events. Including some people that have posted on this post and/or the previous post that were AGAINST the pond jump.
