Jeff - I started a new topic on this because I really didn't want to detract from the nominees posts in the other thread. The link above is the link back to your original post.

I'm genuinely curious as to why people's arms have to be twisted to get them to run for a board position. We've got over 200 TRH members and it seems like it's always the same few that wind up serving.

Is there a need to have an officer or group to review bumps and lap times? The person/group could make suggestions to the BOD or President or Race series chair. Not sure if the race chair already does this "bump" duty.

If there is a need/desire for this type of position, I will run for the position.
