"club is at capacity" has nothing to do with the size of the lease, it has to do with landowner relations, safety in and around the camp area, wear and tear on the landowner's roads, etc. We have a set limit on member families and when that limit is reached, we implement a waiting list. Some things are worth waiting for.

We are protective about who we vote in as members, since one bad apple could ruin our situation for the club as a whole. Being "vouched for" by two current members gives us something to go on in deliberations. Most applicants know someone in the club from enduros, GPs, work, family, etc. If you don't, call one of the contacts on the application. Explain who you are and what you are about. Or come to a meeting, introduce yourself. Come ride our enduro in April, talk to some club members then.

Sorry if this sounds harsh, but land is at a premium and we're serious about keeping ours.
