Drains very well. Was there yesterday. A few spots with some mud in the center of the trail but you can bypass the mud without leaving the trail.

I was there this morning and it's in great shape. Just a few small mud holes that can easily be avoided.

I haven't timed myself in years. But back when I did have a timer on the bike I was turning 24 minute laps when I put my mind to it. That was in the clockwise direction.

I picked up the pace a bit this weekend and noticed that there seem to be more sections going CCW that really don't flow all that well. So I'm thinking the lap times might be a little bit slower going CCW. Haven't put a clock to it though, so just guessing of course.

This is a good thread.. haven't been out to CP in about a year.

I've been tossing around holding an event there for at least 5 years now.

the mountain bikers did a time trial and race there a few years ago..

been wanting to talk to the Park officials to see what it would take to organize a motorcycle time trial event.

Think it would be fun. hang out.. and time each other to get your fastest personal time..

A time trial event sounds fun. I wonder how may riders would show up?

I really dont want to sound like a wuss, but I still havent talked myself into riding out there again yet. Last time I rode was literally about 2 years ago on my xr400. It seemed everytime I rode there, I broke something. It was difficult, but not in a fun challenging way.

It would really help if I could ride local , since my riding buddies are all getting lazy, I end up riding alone these days. I would much rather be close to home if something went wrong.

long story short. are you guys saying that the trails are "easier" than they used to be? I hear talk of bypass trails...I dont ever remember being able to bypass anything. Im pretty sure I have drug my bike up a rock out there before.

give it to me straight...if im just being a baby say so. but if trail conditions have improved enough for the big bikes, let me know.
