Welcome, the time clock starts when the green flag is dropped for the first line. You start on the 4th row, so the most time sitting on the line is about 90 seconds to a minute, that is if there are no crashes on the starts. Really?? I did not know that. I know it seams to take forever for our flag.

Hey Xracer27, Let us know your number so we can look you up during practice and welcome you personally. I know you will not be 527, Hank has that number already. If you do not email Angie she can give you one ahead of time. Just look at the standing and see what numbers are already taken.
Don't for get, you can get back grounds and numbers at the races for under 5 bucks.

I have all ready sent an email. They have reserved 569 for me.
Tod do you mean all 9 digits for $5. I was pricing them online at the shops at $2.50 for every 3 pack. For only $7.50 I think I will try and get r done early.

I would go for the $3 set, but I will probably be stressing enough trying to find and get signed up. Then do a practice lap early enough to let this 50+ body rest. How long does a transponder last? I bought one in 07 to race a few of the other X-country's. I guess when they scan it to match to me I will know then if its good.

Just make sure you get the correct color backgrounds. I ride a 01 Cr250 and have never had a problem with having enough fuel. Good luck and welcome to the family.

You'll have plenty of time to get the #'s on. Practice is over at 11:30 our race is 2:30. Look me up during, or after practice we'll do some bench racing. KTM #527, red GMC truck with a white trailer.

In all honesty it's not the fuel you need to worry about. If you havn't been riding in a few months you need to make sure you are drinking plenty of water this week. I know a hour don't sound like long, but trust me when I say you need to start hydrating early.
