OK this is my first post, But I'm kinda spooked of emma long and would like someone to please show my the Ropes.
I Drove my Husqvarna TE450 there a few times and was seriously kinda lost. I found my own little loop then Ripped some trail.
I recently purchased this bike though in Dec. My new safty gear shoud be here on the 16th or 17th of march. I'm really just looking for people to ride with. I sold my last bike cause Riding alone made me think of being lost in the woods with a broken neck. All of the childhood friends have moved on/turned queer, or whatever. lolz

lets... how to street tires hold up out there, i have a super moto bike and when i talked to the guys at woods in austin they said they go out sometimes but i havent talked to them about it since...

lower pressure and a dry day may , may, just may be ok. wet at all, forget it

I would think the rocks there would ruin a set of street tires, but perhaps not if the compound weren't too soft. But if it had a harder compound traction would probably be terrible, too. Then you risk hurting yourself and/or the bike.

If it were me, I'd get a spare set of dirt wheels for this task, especially since dirt wheels are pretty cheap compared to supermoto wheels. This could also have you set up with a more appropriate rear sprocket for offroad. This should be pretty easy to get used from someone parting out a bike on the TON classifieds.

yea with the big rocky hits, you'd bend your rims and ruin your tires.

I up my tire pressure to 18 - 20lbs for City Park. 20 for sure if you ride that place hard and are a big ol boy, like me. I like to soften my suspension for this place. Years ago we would go right after or during a light rain. It's slick in a few places but it was a blast and really tests your skills. Wet rocks - nothing like it! I shoe on my hard terrain Dunlop 739s for CP. You would hate it on supermoto tires and they would be toast before you finished a lap. Doug is right, get you some a set of offroad wheels & tires for your bike, you will be glad you did.
