I like whataburger you like burger king,I like kroger you like tom thumb. It's a wonder anyone would promote races with all the whinning. In the long road of life it just really don't matter, ride the club you like or ride both or all three. There's only one person we all have to answer to in the end.

that post you are referring to was Cecil's post. We had posted about a little ride/halloween party that was on the same weekend as a TCCRA race. It was deleted with no one calling and even telling us why. It was actually deleted twice. We did find out who did it and that they did not have the authority to do that.

BUt, my problem was.........there were other posts made that also conflicted with TCCRA races. THey were not deleted. Just ours was deleted. Yet again another case of not being consistent or fair.

SO........water under the bridge and all that. And now we have choices, so................

here we are

I am really starting to like this topic. I was wondering if Exited had anything else to add to this topic .

ok Mark, as much as I hate to, I have to disagree with you on who started all of this. I took jakes post as a good job to Curtis, not a slam to TCCRA. It was Joe who posted the first negative post. Joe who is in RFC ministries, and has alot of kids who look up to him as a pro racer, thats somewhat disappointing to see. I guess some things and people arent always what they seem. I wish everyone could see this for what it is, 2 businesses offering different products to its customers. In most cases, people are happy to have more than one option, but then some people are never happy. I wonder how many of the same people who are griping about the conflicting series, would be also griping if one went away and we only one series again. see yall at Meridian.

Nice piece of investigative reporting, Scott!
DDF just knew he coud count on someone to point some of that stuff out. (DDF was trying not to get his hands too dirty.) Yes, you are correct! And YES, DDF does agree with you. That's what DDF was referring to as being "interesting". It is a contradiction of sorts, and not what should probably be expected from RFC.
LOL Conversely....
(yep.....before you poop flingers start pointing yer little fingers)
DDF has never proclaimed himself to be any kind of religious figurehead. Matter of fact, some people might even expect DDF to fling some poo (albeit, not meritless poo, such as this instance).
But, if we're all gonna be a good sport about it, and this is all in good fun & such, then TCCRA needs to lift the temporary suspension on DDF's TCCRA profile (which has been suspended for 3+ yrs now) and we'll all have a little fun on that website, too.
C'mon guys....we're all friends here, right?

scott, i fell like a line was just crossed. do not drag RFC in the middle of this like the ministry had something to do with this dispute. and i dont feel that what Joe said was that HORRIBLE. he's is intitled to his opinion just like everybody else and is intitled to display his opinion how he chooses, no matter how blunt and sarcastic. He was stating what he believed about the organization and i see no reason or corrilation in that putting a negative image on RFC Ministries. joe is a geat person who cannot be judged by a post on an internet forum. the fact that I am a part of RFC is not where this OPINION came from, i just think that was a low blow in general

It's funny to read all this stuff each day. Excited (Charles) is my brother and we often have conversations about TORN and TCCRA. I don't think he has anything against TORN from the conversations we've had. I see in his post that he was just pointing out the differences between the two. I actually prefer TORN over TCCRA and he knows that. I've rode TORN for the past 3 seasons when I could have rode TCCRA and there wasn't any conflicting dates. I did ride a few TCCRA races last year, but I rode a whole season of TORN in 2007 and 2008. I've stated my reason to him as to why I prefer TORN and it's pretty much just a judgement call on what you like. MY main reason personally is the Saturday deal. I like to come early ride a couple laps of practice and then race the same day then I'm free to go home clean the bike and relax on Sunday. Others even in TORN ride Saturday and then race Sunday, not much difference than TCCRA. I do like Curtis and Angie and the way TORN is operated. I've never had any issues with either of the clubs. I remember when DDF had issues with TCCRA and ran for office, as well as issues posted on the forums over there. Wasn't a big deal with me and I enjoyed some of his topics wether I thought he was right or wrong. TCCRA did in my opinion have some politics going on over there but I think they are working on those issues as well. To me they are now trying to do what they think is in the best intrests of the club and just the same as what Curtis is doing. I plan to ride TORN all season and will make most of the races in TCCRA that pays contingency from Honda. So the best I can tell those are all conficting dates. I ride TORN on Saturday and then load up and head for TCCRA for Sunday.

i think everyone needs to go to church and ask for forgivness and quit this childish hoopla
Why do you think that everyone needs to go to church? What about Temple or Mass? You seem to automatically assume that everyone is of Christian faith, or perhaps you think that everyone SHOULD be of Christian faith.
Since it seems like this thread has kind of gone the way of religion, anyways.......
If a "Christian" were to think badly upon or dislike someone of a different faith (Judism or Bhudism for example) then are they being a good Crhistian, or are they contradicting their own faith?
Does one person's religious activities make them a better or worse person than someone of another faith?
Maybe we should all think about that a little bit...........................

Yes, I deleted Ceril's posts on TCCRA forum about his party/Race/Riding event after witnessing him take the checked flag at Honey Grove and then saying that he did not understand that after many years of racing that taking the checkered flag signaled the end of the race and that was how you were scored. Cecil proceed to throw a fit and tell everyone how he would never race TCCRA again.
I as an Officer in TCCRA at the time saw Cecil's post as a conflict with a TCCRA Race and deleted them.

His Family, Ruben and Christopher continued to race the TCCRA series.

Ask Curtis and Angie when they were working on Contingency for TORN, who gave them the people to contact at each Manufacturer.

I Consider Curtis and his family friends.............

As for Cecil, he couldn't spell Cat is you gave him a C and a T and let him buy a vowel.

Cecil is a good racer and I have nothing against him, Jess or any of his family members............I just remember his rant and decided that his posts were in conflict with TCCRA and our Promoter.

TCCRA relies on individuals to step up and put their money up to host event.......... will I do everything I can to protect them on the TCCRA website while I was an Officer.............yes.
