I'd just like to introduce myself. Howdy. Thats what you all, yall?, say down here right?

I'll be visiting my brother in April. I'm from Connecticut and belong to MMC, Pathfinders. Two clubs, one is Meriden Motorcycle Club est 1923! The other is the Pathfinders from early 70's. I just got into dirt riding about 8 years ago and trials riding a couple years ago. I raced Netra enduro series for a few years and consider myself a solid B rider. I ride the trials bike for fun with my friends on the Meriden property. In fact, one guy in the club named Tex(charlie), says you all might know him. He tells me his brother lives in Tx and still competes in trials.
Ok, now you got a little background. Heres my plan. I hope to ride down there while I'm visiting. I'll be a little north of Dallas for a few days and then in Austin for another few. I'm hoping to rent or borrow a dirtbike or trials bike to do a little riding.
I figure I'll go to "Red River" while up in Dallas area and "City park" while in Austin area.
If somebody would be so gracious as to tell me where I could rent or borrow a bike that would be great. I would gladly return the favor if anyone is up this way. We have some real nice riding up here! With lots of shade and trees! ROCKS TOO!
So... that is my story. I'd appreciate any help I can get. Even if you just want to make fun of my name or break my balls that would be fine. I just want to ride while I'm down there. Nothing weird or funny stuff. Let me know if I should post this somewhere else? Maybe I'll get just what I need here. Anyway, it's a warm 35 degrees today up here!

Try the Yahoo group named AustinTrials. Not many trials riders lurking on this board. I don't know of any bikes for rent but you never know. Maybe your friend's brother can do some of the leg work for you?
