I picked up a NGK spark plug IMR9C-9HES. I got home and my book calls for:

Standard 'R0409B-8' or For Extended high speed racing 'R0409B-9'.

Obviously the one I bought isn't close to what the book says so I called the place where I purchased and he said that IMR9C-9HES is what it says in his computer. Does anyone know if it's ok to use the one I bought? These plugs aren't cheap.

but notice that is for only '04 R but '04 - '06 for X????

but looking at an '05 CRF250R in bikebandit

S/PLG (R0409B-8) or S/PLG (R0409B-9)

hmmm, then looking at NGK-USA

they don't list an iridium plug for the '05 or '06 ... only '04???

states the standard plug is "Standard R0409B-8 # 7791 gap 0.036"

and the iridium plug for the '04 is "Iridium IMR8C-9H # 3653 gap 0.036 "

then merely doing a yahoo search on the plug number you did get, appears it fits an '05/'06 CBR600RR, CBR1000RR

don't know what to tell you from here... will check specs to see what the difference is... BRB

Pull the plug out of the bike and see for yourself what is in there.
I thought I'd get a spair plug for my sons new RMZ 250 so I stoped at "A" suzuki shop to pick one up. I was told they didn't have it and it was going to be $63.000000 You got to be out of your mind if you think.......
