Ben DUDE.......You've got to check your bike over brfore every time you ride. YES, haveing no oil will screew your bike up. How bad???? You won't know until it torn down and looked at. It may have got it hot and seized the piston in the cylinder. Most of the time the clutch will get hot enough to boil the water out and thee piston will get hot as well. Try pulling the cylinder off to start with.

Bottomline Ben is that your engine is toast. Your in the need of a rebuild and chances are it will not be cheap. Typically when a motor seizes it is the topend but since you said it did not have gear oil it, then it could be the tranny that seized. Two strokes use crankcase oil to lubricate the transmission components. The 2 stroke oil you mix in your gas lubricates the piston, cylinders and the crank. That is why it is so important to have the correct pre mix ratio set for your gas. You can look on line or the dealership for a service manuel to assist with removing the topend. If you are not mechanically incline or have the right tools I would not attempt splitting your crankcase yourself. Take it to a RESPECTED repair shop or dealership and have them give you a estimate on a repair. FYI: your crankcase oil should be check before each ride and changed about ever 5 hours or so. Rebuild of a topend on a 85cc it is recommended ever 15 hours I think. I ussually go by the rule of I take a compression check reading at rebuild and keep checks and change when the reading drops 10%. I usually do the rings and then a piston ever other topend. These are just suggestions and my opinion and like elbows everyone has one

a couple of quick things to check...
drop the oil drain plug with a pan under it ... does anything run out? if it does, look closely to see if there is any metal in it...
pull the spark plug out and try to push the kick starter thru with your hand. does it move? or still locked up? if locked up, dribble 6-10 drops of oil in the spark plug hole and try pushing the kickstarter thru again tomorrow (let it sit for a little while after putting the oil in the cylinder).
check the coolant in the radiator. does it have any? if so, what condition is it? (clear & clean or murky)...
then report back here...
was the bike running fine then just stopped? were you holding it wide open or hitting very high RPM???
