Great place. Many, many trails. You could get lost. Great camping. Deer around and other things. Never saw anyone fishing other then okies on the other side.

Look in these forums for QuadTexas and you will find a short description of our weekend trip to the Red River ranch with a few pictures.

I went to red river atv park a few weeks ago. It was kind of muddy but still alot of fun rippin through the fast sandy trails. The "track" is in need of some major grooming but its all sand

I go to red river ALL the time, the track is constantly changing because its made completely of sand, some days its good others its bad. Its got great trails although they recently closed off one of the best places to ride there...

IF you haven't been you need to see this place for your self... If you go with someone that's been there it would be best because it is easy to get lost if you get back in some of the trails. The camping is very primitive. There are a few awnings and picnic tables. Don't step on the cow patties. There is a family of skunks near the northern most campsite at the 2nd gate. Haven't gotten sprayed yet. You can take your fireworks for july 4th and new years. Oh.... 5 MPH or Mrs. Harris wil get you.
