PLEASE join us in the Texas Offroad Rally at the Capitol in Austin, TX on Sept.
25th to show your support for creating new ATV/OHV parks in Texas and also to
repeal SB 155.

We intend to meet at Highlands Mall (hwy 290 & IH-35) at noon and then proceed
to drive around the Capitol Bldg with all ATVs/dirtbikes trailered and all steet
legal vehicles (Jeeps/4x4 trucks) driven on the road. Please display tasteful
signs and window lettering (i.e., "Repeal SB 155" or "Give Back Our ATV
Trails").

Sorry to hear that you can't make it. Yes, we are now in the process of contacting the local (Austin area) media.

For anyone else who might be available this Saturday and is FRUSTRATED with the lack of ATV riding areas in TX and/or HATES the new law that bans ATVs and OHVs from most TX rivers (SB 155), please do something about it by showing up this Saturday at our Rally at the Capitol in Austin, TX.

I'm going to try to make this along with a few members from houston.

We should all remember that we can directly contact our state representatives regarding this. We may or may not be able to get it repealed. If not, perhaps we can get it ammended.

The key point is for lots of us to let our representatives know we are out here. In the past, we've just been silently steam-rolled. We need to call them, send them emails and visit them. Let them know we're here, we vote, and we're upset about losing our riding areas. We need to let them know we come from all walks of life, and we're not just a bunch of Bubba's that want to trash the envionment (my apologies to any authentic Bubba's).

Find out who your representative is right here and send them an email about how bad SB 155 is.
