be aware that the snakes are start'n to show themselves...i left one pretty pizz'd after i almost ran over him(or her) last weekend...
...a roosted snake...now that's skeery!
One good thing about riding boots,,is that they are snake proof...Yeah..watch out for the snakes,wasp,bee's,ants,fleas,alligator's,mosquitoes,fly's,,,,,,,it's that time of the year,,,but,,,when You ride a bike into beautiful places like that,,You can see stuff like that,, that other People will never see...that's special...that's why We ride....Dr.D..

...will there be "free riding" allowed(non fun run)?
...which areas and/or times/days?
this just in case the SHNF gets shut down from the passing front.

Kenny,
Typically on event days, we don't allow "free riding" because we don't want the riders to worry about two way traffic. However, this event will be limited to the SE section of the property (i.e. Levee system) so if you can stay away from that area then yes you can "free ride". Saturday is the only day for limited free riding, all other days are wide open.
