I'm planning on riding at Crafton but currently I am not a member of TORO. Will I be able to sign up and ride at the race? Any light that can be shed will be helpfull.

Yep, I went to Bells, signed up and raced the same weekend. Just get a race entry at the gate. Then find the scoring trailer (white with walk up windows and usually people around it) Just ask and someone will point you in the right direction. At the trailer, fill out a membership form and your race entry, choose a number (they have a list you can choose from for your class) buy a transponder, and then find a partner to ride with during practice. Also make sure you bring cash for all of this!

You can pretty much ask anyone, but the folks at the NControlRacing trailer will help if you dont have a partner. Make sure you pay attention to the practice times for whatever class you are riding.

There is a new rule that if your in the over 35 amature class C5xx then you must shift your bike with your right foot only for the first lap.

LOL I like that rule! Wonder if I can get the W3xx to go for that one?

Yes you can show up on Saturday morning. Please be aware of your practice times, and be sure you are signed up before it is time for you to enter the track. Sign ups start at 9am on Saturday and close at 2pm. If you are not making it out on Saturday, then you can still show up Sunday morning. Sign ups start at 7am and there is a parade lap immediately following the rider's meeting. Again, you must be signed up before you can ride the track though.

Hope this helps. Look forward to meeting you. You will have a blast.

Thanks for all the input. Crafton sounds like fun. I look forward to meeting everyone.

By the way I always shift with my right foot! That why I ride in the C class.

Since you ride the C class, please note you have the first race Sunday morning (9am).
