So I have a question. The last two, times we have raced there it has been a re-start and there were 2 approx. 6 mile loops. Now I see it is going to be a re-start enduro. So my question is how many miles of actual trail are we talking here?

Talking with Brian the other day he said the long course will be somewhere around 55 ground miles.

Not asking about total miles. Want to know how many miles of actual trail. I.E. is it a 20 mile loop that will be run 1 & 1/2 times on sat and 2 & 1/2 times on Sunday or is it 55 miles of unrepeated trail?

Sorry about that I posted a few questions about the upcoming race at brunes mill, and for some reason it was blank. Anyways my question was last year I raced 200C, and I am curious of the difference between a few classes. Between the 200C/250C/Open C and the Sportsman class besides enigine size. Yes I have read this section of he rule book. If I run the sportsman class this go around what is the major difference from the 200C class? Its says in the rule book Sportsman does not run for an overall. Does that mean class overall or just the overall of all riders? Just a noob trying to clear some things up. I am bringing some more riders this time around, and some handguards.
Thanks.

Brian- Sportsman is a stand alone class so they are not ranked versus anyone else where as if you rode 200C you would be ranked in Overall C versus all of the other C riders. You can't ride Open C ( well you could but some nit wit would probably protest) on a 200 as it is for bikes 251cc and larger. With the scoring system now if use it is easy enough if you ride sportsman to compare your score to everyone else's so don't worry about what class to ride just show up and have a good time. And bring as may buddies as you can!

Thanks for the update G. Sounds like more new trail since last time we were there. Bummed I'm gonna have to miss this one but my Nephew is getting married in San Angelo on that Saturday night.

There appears to be a big storm on the way, moving in Houston's direction. If it affects the Brunes Mill race will there be a reschedule, cancellation, or run?

How wet is the property now? Looks like some moisture in the forecast for the weekend.

It's been a while since I've been to this property. I'm planning on driving my class A RV.
Looks like we'll get some rain. Am I going to be OK getting in and out?

Could be sketchy. I have a class A and not going to risk it. I'll just have to make the trailer do. If you do decide to take it, I would not take the final right turn into the normal area they park us, that is super soft and no where to turn around unless they have changed it. I would park off to either side of the hard pack on the road going in just prior to entering the last turn to the right. Maybe they will have signs there for the big rigs. Love Brunes, if rain holds a bit, I have seen it turn to velco in a number of places.
