Everyone is so sensitive these days. I don't have a problem with people running generators. But if there not annoying then pull it out and leave it next to your camper and don't run a 20 foot cord. I think it's more about being courteous and if you know it's loud park a vehicle between it and your camper.

Can I chime in after a few adult beverages??? Or better yet, I havent drunk called Cecil and Liss in awhile, Im sure they miss me!!LOL

how did you know it was a he??? I could be a she... j/k. Anyways im not trying to cause issues just throwing out "reasonable" solutions.

If you are that disgruntled with a loud generator, please talk to the individual who owns said generator personally or to a TORN staff member to handle the situation. Posting your concern on an open forum is like sending a mass email company-wide to correct the behavior of just one individual. Sadly, that individual is not aware that he/she is the actual cause of the mass emailing and never realizes that the issue directly involves them. I personally despise being scolded as a group for something an individual has done. On a side note, our on board generator's fuel pump died early Saturday, so we had to run the trailer generator for the remainder of the weekend. If it was loud, I do apologize for the inconvenience, as we never run that generator after dark if possible. We plan to have the problem remedied by the next race.

At first I thought you were talking about me, but I can't even afford a $599 generator. I only paid $499 for mine. Much less all the other nice stuff on the list.

maybe instead of bitching and complaining about the people the generators, you should save up some money, get a trailer and a generator, and join the movement... then you can enjoy the hum of your own generator...

Ive been going to the races for the past 10 years and guess what, THEY ALL HAVE PEOPLE USING GENERATORS... quit being a baby and just enjoy being at the races.. if its too loud and you're going to threaten walking around unplugging peoples generators at 11pm then you need to get a new hobby bc you dont need to be at a motocross race... maybe try ballroom dancing or tennis?

and i just want to pre-apologize bc i know my comment is probably going to piss someone off... its just that COME ON, the curfew is for people listening to music and drinking beer at 1am, not the nice family trying to sleep in air conditioning the night before the race...

and i sleep in a tent or my truck and dont have a generator and they have NEVER bothered me...
