I know right? lol That's why I was yelling for Cecil. We haven't had any drama lately (which is good) so we get all excited over a generator debate
Your right ridered I have no idea what I was thinking when I said don't park where someone with a loud ass generator can park by ya.
I agree, as I posted earlier, that some folks lack in common courtesy. I am sorry you had issues with someone's gen this weekend. I hope it wasn't mine but we leave ours in our camp right next to the trailer. If it was mine feel free to come into camp and let me know and we will try to block the noise.

There is no way I'm going to turn off my generator at night. Do you know how hot it would be in the trailer without a fan running? Of course I hated how loud some of them were before I insulated the walls in my trailer, now I really don't notice the noise. (This is coming from a guy that go to sleep without the tv on. I need the noise to sleep.)

I slept in my trailer with the doors shut in a sleeping bag and it got a little chilly. So I know it had to be cold in a camper with the A/C running all night!

I will let you park beside us at the next race so you can plug into my generator to run your fan at night. You will see why we run them all night.

I know what your saying though. Some of them are way to loud. Mine sets right next to the trailer and I can hear some over mine. That would be my $499 generator. lol

Here's a better solution. BUY A QUIETER GENERATOR...Problem solved, or BUILD SOMETHING TO GO AROUND YOUR LOUD GENERATOR TO QUIET IT DOWN. Problem solved again. I can do caps too

A piece of flex hose and an old street bike muffler can be a quiet, temp add on. Almost zero money and easily portable. No reason to be noisy or rude.
