I too grew up on XR's and still love them! I started on a Q50, then 78 XR75,then a brief time on a 79 RM125 and burned it up riding it like a 4 stroke. Knew I never wanted a 2 stroke again!! 80 XL185,84 XR250R, 87 XR250R, 86XR600R, 91XR600R, 96XR400R (All time favorite XR!)07 XR650R, 05 XR650L. Then went to the CRFR's and X's, 450's and 250's. Lost count on how many of those I've owned. LOL! Sorry to say I went Blue in the last few years with a YZ250FX because Honda Didn't offer a cross country bike. They do now whit there RX model! Waiting for the 250RX in 18 to come out. I still have a 90 XR250R with a 260 kit and a bunch of other mods. Used it to race the double decade class in the TORCS series. I also just finished rebuilding a 84 XR500R with a ton of extras. It's going to be my dual sport bike. See pics. Sorry could down load but one bike pic because there too big.
