This will be my first TORN race this weekend "Edgewood". I am wondering if I will need to pit for fuel? I have a 01 CR250. Oh yea, the 60 minute race, over 45 Am.

you should be fine, just watch your time and fuel during practice and make a call, I run a 250 2 stroke, and have never had to pit.

Another question dose the 60 minutes start with the first class to leave? That would mean the last class would have less time or laps.

Not really sure but I think that you are right on the start clock. Doesn't really matter to me as I am never in the front anyway and just about ready to be done with the race. As for the fuel you will have plenty, just don't forget to refuel BEFORE the race. Been their, done that, had to finish on the reserve...

Refueling, That is a good question. It really depends. If you are in the front of the pack, then yes, you will need to stop and check your gas level and top it off. If you are towards the back, mainly in back of me, then you will have plenty of gas to go the distance.

If you are really uncertain, you can do what I do. Most races are 4 to 5 laps. So I ride 5 to six laps during practice. I have never run out or had to switch to reserve.

Hey stop by on the line and say Hi. I am number 590 See you on the line.

One bit of advise, Start drinking lots of water now and bring a camel back to the race. You will need it.

Welcome to TORN

Welcome, the time clock starts when the green flag is dropped for the first line. You start on the 4th row, so the most time sitting on the line is about 90 seconds to a minute, that is if there are no crashes on the starts.

I agree with Todd, you should check your gas, top it of, get a drink, maybe a snack. Heck, since you're new, and this is your first race with us; stop by my camp during the race I'll ask the wifey to have a wet towel for you. It's the least I could do for a new competitor...Like everyone said you should be good to go on gas. Stop by and say hey on the line.
