I'm not complaining about the conflict. We had already decided, before the schedules were out that we were going to have to cut back to one series. After a family meeting, yes we are in it for the kids so they decide, TORN was the choice for a full time series along with TORO w/ it being a short winter series. To me it seems like those that run tccra are the ones who have complained about the conflicts. Can't hardly blame most of them because it hurts the promoters when entries are low. We plan on trying to hit the races that we enjoyed in the past mainly because of who the promoters are. But blame cannot be put on Curtis because he is running a business and wants to take care of his customers (I thought you would like that word DDF)
I honestly don't see an issue. Those who like the tccra format will race tccra those who like torn's format will race torn. I know there are a few who like to do both but some things cannot be helped and Curtis and crew did things the way they thought was best for their family business The officers and the few members who show up to meetings will decide how tccra will be run and what they believe is best for their club.
Now everyone put your head on your desk for 15 minutes and have a little nap time before time to go home.

Gee Whiz............... Look at what this has turned into. (please note that DDF showed much restraint in not interjecting, or stirring this pot until now.) DDF finds it most interesting to see some "die-hard" TCCRA-ers on the TORN forum, bashing TORN & promoting TCCRA. Interesting moreso is who these people actually are. (shame, shame, shame on you.)
All of that being said........ If you TCCRA folks wanna come onto here & have your little "dog & pony show", then how about reinstating DDF's profile on the TCCRA forum? That is.....since you guys seem to think you are the poster children for honor & integrity.
This way, you can come here & champion TCCRA's cause, DDF will go to your website & champion TORN's cause.

DDF...look who started this post. It was a TORN racer. If your are referring to me posting about Malakoff, I was not trying to get anyone to switch clubs, I was simply reminding everyone since TORN did not have a race this weekend they could get some extra time riding this weekend.

Well.....this is the torn forums. So it's not unusual for a torn member to start a thread on the torn forums about a torn race. He just thought is was great that torn had a great rider turn out and was basically congratulating them for that. If tccra would have had a huge number of entries and torn didn't you would have seen this thread on the tccra forums instead. So there is nothing wrong about torn members being proud there was a good turn-out at the first race of the season.
As for you posting about the tccra race this weekend I personally don't see an issue with it but I am 99.9% sure if someone had posted there was a torn race on a tccra off weekend it would be deleted. There has been an issue with someone posting they were having a riding party,no charge, just for funzies posted on the tccra forums but it was deleted because it was in conflict with a tccra race. So now you know the rest of the story.

DDF would have to actually go back & re read all of this thread to be sure, but DDF didn't really have you, in particular, in mind when he made his post. You haven't typically been so much of a poop slinger in the past.
DDF will, however, stick to his guns. If TCCRA wants to sling poop on the TORN forums, then TORN should sling poop on the TCCRA forums. And DDF can think of a couple of folks who will gladly lead the charge. It is really a shame, though, that this has to turn into a battleground.

Liss...you nailed it right on the head. If it was a conflict with a event. Not that I am in favor of removing any post(except the offensive ones) but the one you are referring to was a conflict with the same date as a TCCRA event. I would have never posted on the TORN forum information about a TCCRA or other series race that would conflict with TORN event. The one I posted was only becuase TORN did not have an event that day or I would have never posted it. If Curtis or Angie thinks it was inapropriate for me to post it on the TORN forum they are free to remove it. I truely was not trying to start anything. I know the entire motorcycle industry benefits the more people ride. It does not matter where they ride just that they ride.

Yep................but I guarentee you that even if it didn't conflict a post of the same nature but about torn on the tccra forums would have been deleted. You know that as well as anyone.
Pretty much anything goes on this forum except bad language and down right being mean. I am sure if they had an issue with you posting about the other race then they would have deleted it but it is pretty much commonly known that there is another series or two running right now so deleting an invite would just be petty.
The thing about the "party" conflicting with a race date was just plain crazy especially seeing there was a couple of "invites" to mx races the same date posted on the forum.
