Since you won Senior C previously, you'd be a B category rider. Obviously, the displacement classes and appropriate age classes are available to you based on your category (i.e., Senior B, 250B, etc.). In addition, the open short course class Sportsman is available to anyone not wanting to ride the long course.

If you feel you're no longer qualified to ride the long course, you will have to send a written request to the circuit president stating your case. The board will have to approve any downward movement (i.e., back to C category).

The complete TSCEC rule book including class definitions is available from:

http://www.tscec.org/rules.htm

Section 6 goes into great detail regarding the Classification of Participants and section 7 lists all the classes.

Ongoing discussions regarding the TSCEC are generally place in the TSCEC forum below.

Welcome back.

Thnx, I read, re-read & re-read looking all over for that information, Just looked in the wrong places!

Kudos Bud!

Thank you very much

I did not ride nor win Senior C back then I was 10 years younger, If I were to ride now, I would be 41 almost 42 ... I have a very good reason to not ride the long course, I shall follow your link to find my way!

Thnx again,

toom

I found the information, It was very useful ...

I'll be in 251-up or Sportsman class

toom

hmmmm, 1994 ? ? ?

I think that was the last year or next to last year (1994 or 1995???) I rode for points...

hey Bud, do you by chance have the old rule books from back in that era scanned and stashed away somewhere? I think I have looked in the archieves but they don't go back that far (best I recall anyway)...

welcome back to da sport!

LOL yeah I have one stashed away in paper form somewhere but I was looking for a PDF version...

I rode the open C class for years (mid 80s thru early 90s on an XR500) but in the '93-'94 time frame era, they opened up a 4 stroke C class and since I was on a XR600, I switched to that class since I had a 40+ lb heavier bike than you guys on the open class 2 smokers (and honda was offering incentives for placement in the 4 stroke class) and trophied in all but one enduro (Sidewinder, stump at about mlie 25 ruined a great pair of highpoint boots and my left foot) that I got to ride my last year (and a idiot manager signed me up for a business trip to CA and I missed the last enduro of the year (already used my drop), either San Angelo or PBMA, both held that year at the Texanna Ranch that Ross Creek Trail Riders have now, which all I had to do was ride to the first check and DNF to have 2nd place in the bag, but since I missed that event, I ended up in 4th for the year...a$$hole manager!!!)... Gary Webb ended up taking 1st in the 4 stroke C class that year, I am drawing blanks on the other guys that beat me by a few points that year since I only got to ride 7 races and they had 8.... part of the nature of enduros, stuff happens. end of the year banquet was in New Waverly, cool trophy and I got to buy several old school ICO computer (Pro3) and odometer from Will Hendrix and Ken Langham since they were moving up to higher class equipment that year and I was still riding to a casio large display watch, mechanical factory odometer and a roll chart (Will H. is an icon to enduros to me!!!! a true gentleman to the sport since he drug me (late 80s-mid 90s) and my son (late 90s-mid 2000s) thru many a mile of courses around TX). I still have the ICOs and hopefully will use them again after I recoup fully from back surgery back in late June...

anyway, I am motivated to go find my old rule books and scan to PDFs (if I can find them) for the archieves, as I would suggest others to do. those old memories can not be replaced and are well preserved.... at least in my head (might even inspire me to post over in the glory days forum again under the topic of enduros....)
