I want to come up and ride this Sunday. What do I need as far as fees and requirements go ?

where is barnwell recreation area? just curious

BMRA is in Gilmer, Texas....NE Texas near Longview/Tyler area.

We open from 6pm Thursday til 6pm Sunday.....we will be open on the 4th of July, but no fireworks allowed.
We have a shower and bathrooms.
We have a food vendor...but not always.

Safety Rules:

Riders / Drivers / Passengers:
Helmets and safety equipment are required on Motorcycles and ATVs.
No double riding.
Roll Bars or factory hardtops and seatbelts are required on 4WD vehicles.
Tow hooks, CB and winch are recommended.
No alcohol on the trails. No drugs on the property.
Obey all speed limits and other signs.
Trails:
Stay on existing trails. NO TRAIL BLAZING!
“Tread Lightly”
No littering. Take out all trash.
4WD vehicles yield right of way to Motorcycles and ATVs.
All trails are 2-way unless otherwise marked.
No cutting trails or trees without prior permission from Property Mgr.
Safety and Preservation:
Trail blazing violators will be asked to leave the property.
Clubs and groups are encouraged to adopt existing trails. Please see Property Mgr.
Members and guests are encouraged to help enforce the rules in order to preserve the trails and park and have a cleaner, safer place for everyone.
Fees:

Gate/Trail Riding:

annual members - $40.00 per year*
$15 for 1st day
$5 for each additional day
Includes all vehicles w/immediate family


day use members - $20.00 per day per trail vehicle

*All memberships can be purchased on-site; Gate Fee waived on first weekend with paid Annual Membership. Membership includes full voting rights, quarterly newsletter, etc.

Camping :

primitive sites:

annual members - $8.00/night
day use members - $10.00/night

electric included sites:

annual members - $15.00/night
day use members - $20.00/night

thanks laura. new places to ride are always nice. my father in law bought my 450 and wants to ride with me when i get home from iraq. that will be in Jan.06. he lives in azle on sandy beach rd. he's not much for mx tracks so a place like barnwell would be fun for the both of us. thanks for the info. i'll relay this info. to my father in law and maybe he can get some riding time in before i return.

I live in Azle ...on Mountain View Dr. ...right off of Sandy Beach Rd.
And just happen to manage the local bike shop in Springtown.
