Any idea when the mowers will be repaired up at Skull Creek?

When I get chance to drag it home & get the guys to look at it.It starts & runs fine - just won't go forward or backwards. The hydraulic fluid in the back end is low so it won't drive but I couldn't get any more to go in - maybe the hose has a blockage? The JD mower is definitely not working.

ok, thank you. I am trying to get my neighbor's mower so I can get it done before the weekend. Maybe that will help with the mosquitoes some.

I was unable to get the mower so let me know when one of them is fixed and I make sure that it gets mowed.

Re: Mowers - 05/31/10 10:32 AM

wus out at SC Saturday & Sunday...didn't get a chance to look at the mower(s)...Toby wus only out for a day ride Saturday and the barn wus only opened to get the mule to recover a young man that wus overcome with the heat & sand...

...trails are on the sandy side...nothing new but a gud rain will help.

the skeeters weren't bad at all BUT there are sum hornets try'n to take over the clubhouse...there's a hole in the wall by the stove in the kitchen that they're using...i plugged it up and that only piss'd them off...one of their relatives caught up w/ me a the Snake House and got me twice in the arm! it'll probably need two bug bombs to clear them out...if i skip the enduro i'll get'um next weekend!

kinda suprised there wusn't more people out there this weekend...must be the heat.

Happy Memorial Day & thankyou to all the Vets!

cheers

My family and I were out at a friends ranch riding. I finally christened my bike. 30 ft. vertical launch in the air and 3/4 across the neibors pond. Yes, I landed in the pond! Lesson learned. Know the trail befor you RIDE the trail. Ok, it was a pasture but same concept. I hope to get the bike back on its feet before the Enduro.

Cheers,

When I was out there Monday someone said that Juliet was out picking up the mowers. Hopefully they will be an easy fix and we can get the lawn mowed soon. Jennifer and I mowed the lawn at our ranch this weekend and it knocked the bugs down.

Marcus has both mowers in his shop & will see what he can do to get them running again this weekend.
I am sad to hear about someone stealing Rob's goggles from off the top of the fridge & hope that they now realize that they were not trail booty & will return them to Rob or at least put them back on the fridge again.
Someone also decorated the club house wall with Graffitti. I presume somebody's kid that needs to be taught to show respect for property.
Thank you Jennifer White for cleaning it off.It is nice to know someone cares!

Cool, we will not be out there this weekend. If they are up and running then we will probably go out next weekend and mow.

Do we still need the grass mowed? I can cut it tomorrow if need be, but I have to know ASAP. I can get my hands on a good sized zero-turn mower, and be there tomorrow (Friday June 11th).

Talked with Juliet. So I plan on being out there tomorrow, and staying through the weekend. Should have the big circle cut before Saturday (hopefully)

Re: Mowers - 06/10/10 06:03 PM

Someone took a zero-turn out there last fall.A demo mower guy took 20 minutes to cut the lot! Someone went around camp & picked up the hoses & tree debris for him first. Usually takes 3-4 hours on the club ride-on.Thanks,Eric. Everyone appreciates you taking time doing this - especially the families with little kids!

don't worry i'll be there to supervise Eric...

...he doesn't have a lot of experience w/ big HP high tech equipment.

FYI he has a birthday this weekend and he's just not as sharp mentally as he use to be...not to mention he's get'n a little soft around the edges...so cut him a little slack if holds u up on the trails.
