DIRECTIONS

From Lubbock take Ranch Road 1730 (Slide Rd) south 15 miles to New Home. Turn right on RR 211 (west) and drive 1.5 miles to the track. Or take Hwy 84 south to RR 211, turn right (west) and go through New Home to the track.

LAYOUT

The manmade, 1.0 mile track is a SX / MX mix with intermediate, dark loam soil and clay-faced jumps. The course has an open layout with wide corners and low-medium berms. The track features 5 tabletops, one 40', and 4 doubles, one 50'-60', as well as, 2 whoops sections, one long and fast and the other stadium-style. The 26-rider gate is backward-falling on dirt. The pit area is dirt and unshaded and the toilets are portable. There is a permanent concession and camping is free.

BACKGROUND

Tony opened the track 18 months ago and has been working on it ever since. Even with the isolated position of the track, in West Texas, they still pull about 160 riders at each event. The facility plans to build a night track later this year.
