Banquet

Banquet - 11/10/09 11:07 PM

The banquet will be held at Great Wolf Lodge on Saturday evening, 8:00pm, January 16.

We got the cost down to $169 per room with 2-6 people per room. The reason we said $35 per person is when you average 5 people it comes to about $169. If a couple wants to be by themself then $169 it is so the more people sharing the cheaper per person.

You can start making reservations as soon as we get the contract signed and they assign us a group number. We just wanted everyone to know the cost.

You will have use of the waterpark on Saturday starting at 1:00 and check in to your room by 4. On Sunday, check out is 11:00 but you can stay at the park until 4 pm.

Good question, This is a great deal if you live a ways away but I live in Corinth. What is the cost if you just go to the banquet?

Does banquet include food?

We will not be serving food this year. There are several restaurants inside the hotel or you can bring outsdie food in but you have to keep it in your room. So that can save you a little.

No food and it's still $15/person! Can I just get my award in the parking lot? I don't think I'm worth $15!

How can you decide you like the old way better, when we havn't done the new way yet? I personally think it's a great idea... I think we will find that folks like myself who are not in the points for awards, will now be planning on attending. I also like the more central location. I'm sure if 15 dollars is to expensive for some, that they can pick their awards up at a later date... I still predict the turn out will be much larger than years past, even if a few don't show up.

For those asking about the meals at Great Wolf Lodge, they have an all you can eat buffet (around $20.00 per person) and a sports bar. You can also drive 1/2 a mile east on Hwy 26 and can eat at some of the local restaurants that surround Grapevine Mills Mall. There is a Whataburger, Steak and Shake, and a BBQ restaurant, just to name a few. For all those men that want to thank their wives for supporting them (cough, cough.....Mike) there is an INCREDIBLE spa there. There is also an arcade, mani-pedi spa for the kids, and a gift shop. We had an incredible time there and the rate for the room is great too. Here is their site: http://www.greatwolf.com/grapevine/waterpark

i think the max park passes per room is 6 and the rest are $40 each. so i guess you can have more than 6 but they only give you 6 passes.
