Hi there,
I'm a near-the-back-of-the-pack B rider living in Manhattan in New York City, and our race season ends this weekend.
But I'm not satisfied yet, and your season just started!
So I have this crazy plan to fly down for a few Texas enduros over the winter, and I'm looking for a bike I could rent a couple of times.
I'm light weight, and my bikes are a KTM 200, Husky 165, and Husky 125, so a 250 or less 2T, or a 250F would be fine for me. Lighter is better, power not needed so much. I also don't need anything super fancy or new, just reliable. Maybe you have a KDX200 sitting in the shed? (Also, do you need a license plate for enduros down there?)
I'm a reasonably experienced rider, so I'm familiar with all the ins and outs of enduros (hey, we still do the time keeping ones up here!), bike maintenance, and I'll be bringing all my own gear. I just need a bike and 2 gas cans at the start line.
I'll treat the bike like my own, replace anything I might break or scratch, and would like to pay a fair price for whatever a one day rental would be worth to you.
I'm also looking for mid-pack riding buddies, since this will be my first time riding in Texas.
thanks!
