Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum so I hope I'm posting in the correct section. I live in Cedar Creek (right outside of Austin) and I am about to get a dirt bike. I used to have one, but it was stolen frown Where can I find some trails to ride? I am a beginner and had only a month's worth of experience on the bike. I have lived in Texas all my life and I realize it is kind of sad that I don't already know this. I live near the Del Valle motocross track which has some trails, but I'm looking for additional places. I'm not exactly sure, but could I ride at state parks?
Well, any help is very much appreciated.
Thanks!

Follow this link http://www.texasoffroad.net/forum/ubbthr...y_Ju#Post505394 There will be more details later in the week for directions, times and cost. You can get alot more info on where to ride locally from all of the people that will be attending this AMSA family day ride. Come on out, you will love this ranch.

Thank you very much, hopefully I'll be able to make it to the ranch. I also found this website ( TxTracks.com ) It helped me find a couple places.

If you don't make it, keep an eye on the AMSA forum for future rides & potential riding lease property. The trails at DVMX are fun, nice to have that so close to town. If you are interested in more hardcore technical and rocky trail riding there is City Park,& Boulder Creek near Marble Falls on 1431.

I ride at Hidden Falls in Marble Falls a lot. I think they are about the best trails around here. Maybe we can meet up sometime and you can ride with me and some friends
