here's a little memory from 73. i think it was a national at rockhart, oops, sorry, lochart and on the saturday before the race the good people of the area put on a "corn-o-cross" for all the teams. the idea was to see how many ears of corn a person could eat in three timed motos of 5 minutes if memory serves me. a lot of damage was done to the local crops by the "pros" of the factory teams. i think one of the yamaha mechanics won. at 17 i knew i was out of my league. i could only eat two(they were huge) but it was sooo good. the best i've had. just one of many great memories from mine and texas's early moto days. df
