This subject is good for one free post a day if you post here more than once a day you owe Mark Thompson's six day fund 5.00$ each time Jay Callaway will keep track of it.

101 Gang Member - Yeah seeing the New Boot in Fux gear was like seeing Emmitt (the real #22) in a Cardinal's uniform.

I heard Blake and Jordan were going up. I'll be there, having a mini family reunion at "LTR West". Probably not much riding on my part.

I resent being grouped with any damn doctors! But as for the beer, you're right, I have one cold six-pack of Shiner (or "lawyer beer", as Collins calls it) in my cabin fridge. I'd be happy to share.

Just heard that Donald is going with Blake and Jordan, and that Mike Nix and Micky Hogan are heading up, too. I'm guessing that Bill Bray will jump in with Micky, so I doubt there will be any shortage of beer. I may be able to bum off him and save mine for later.

You know, I was working like crazy to get 30 so I wouldn't be a "New Boot" anymore. Last week I did it, and when I looked last time I was an "Old Boot". Got on last night, and I was a "Prez elect" or whatever. Maybe next year you'll make it to the circuit planning meeting and get some title by your name, too. I hear the President spot may be open again by then.

I think that some expeirenced enduro workers and riders should get together and make a video on the corect way to run a check point.Explain the reason a check is used and have a check set up and go thru a check in, check out etc..Then at the check meeting they can watch the video and get a better idea of what a check is realy about.I had checks cost me at least 45 seconds checking in to test at Mile High.People that dont actually race dont understand that when someone steps directly in front of your bike and takes the time to write that perfect number on your card you could already be 1/4 mile down the trail. The video could show faster and beter ways of operating the check.

good point. clean numbers sure make scoring easy. but leaving late hurts the rider. I got in and out but do you think riding early hurts because they are not ready and in the groove yet?

Thats a good point, the video would have live footage the night before so people that have never worked or seen a check will get an idea of whats is going to be happening the next morning.

I don't think I want to see video of what most of these checkpoint workers do the night before! Well, maybe one or two, like that bikini girl at Kachina...

I ment you could watch the video of an actual check point in action, not Wayne and Blake shotgun Coors Light all night. The chic from Kachina would be nice.
