Still curious why this site suddenly began to be less utilized. Something happen that the casual user would not know about? It seems like all the race promoters like TORCS, TORO, TORN and several others just disappeared. Just don't understand why. I realize Facebook is a big thing now but it is nowhere as convenient as TON. Everyone has a PC but many do not use Facebook and never will. Why would clubs and promoters want to in essence keep their info secret? For many many years offroad events were almost impossible to find then, TON and sites like it popped up on the internet and really changed the sport. Someone please explain to me why any club or promoter desiring riders to attend their events would purposely choose to restrict the info about their event. Just plain dumb from a business point of view IMO.

Well I can only speak for TORCS, but Jackie got tired of complaints. On facebook they can edit comments. Here they couldn't. So many people use facebook and it's easy to send group messages. here people have to come here to get the info. This software stopped getting updates to keep up with technology. Wasnt cost effective to switch software with traffic going in the wrong direction.
