My favorite was the 2stks and the 4stks. Honest. I was very surprised how they all felt good and so much alike. I started with the 430RE and went thru all the RE's down to the 250 2stk. I am not exaggerating, they all felt so similar it was weird. None of the 4stks(350-390-430) felt top heavy, suffered a stall/flameout. The 390 was a tiny bit more traditional thumper feeling due to the long stroke motor. Not a negative at all just slightly slightly different. For pure fun and effectiveness the 350 was at the top of my list. Would pull from nine rpm and still ripped in the upper range. The 250 2stk was also just a little snappier than the 300 and would be my choice if I was a younger man. When I say ripped I also mean that it was still controllable with every size. It was very easy to dial in exactly what you wanted, no crazy explosion. That applies to ALL the engines, beyond excellent power. Right now I am struggling between the 300, 350 and 390. The 430 and 480 were very popular and there was a line to get on the 480 as the day went on. Everyone was amazed at how smooth and easy to ride it was. The strongest thing I can say is that all the models felt alike, just natural with no quirky feel. Basically felt like I was riding the bikes Honda should be building. Perfect ergonomics, very light feel, engine character and handling. Very very impressed.
