To whom ever came up with the idea to have the bucket of Starbursts Jelly Beans at the second gas may i just say one word. BRILLIANT! I was a little low on energy when I got to the gas stop and two handfuls of those and I was ready to finish the Long Course.

awesome. I didn't have a chance to enjoy the amenities but I made it to that next check in time. What a beautiful run on the white river bottom. I was on row 1 so it was nice and tidy smile

(on a side note, not really enough time between checks, but I'm not that fast so I can improve!)

I agree. When that little girl came by and offered a shot of sugar to me, I turned her down. Then I thought about it for a minute and grabbed and handful. Smartest thing I did all weekend long!

The silt hill? I stopped halfway to re-orient my bike on the switchback, about a dozen crazy riders went up in a dust cloud so dense you could slice it with a knife. The helicopter hovering overhead during the action should make for an interesting quick video!
