TSCEC is working on getting things back online with Blackjack and getting more events in other areas of the state. It is obviously West Texas heavy next year but I can assure you that TSCEC is aware and pushing for more events that would balance out the location of races across the state. Lots of politics as we all well know. I can't speak to all the politics involved because I'm new to the team but with time I believe we will get this worked out and get a good balance of events across the state and with other sanctioned groups. And yes, the schedule is tentative and can be changed. I didn't put any co-sanctioned information on the schedule because that is still in progress. That will be updated as those agreements are made. Thanks for voicing concerns, that makes us better.

And thanks to everyone that is working to make it better. I know it is usually a thankless job.

RenegadeDude for Pres! Tough situation for sure these days especially considering available land. For me in DEEP SE TX most events are eight to 11-12 hours away. That makes it very doubtful for a SR traveling alone. And the two-day events make it tougher for those who can't travel Fridays. Seems a little unfair for quite a few. Hope things can be worked out, a return to Smithville sounds great.

Probably for the best. Those hordes of women in your past would make things difficult.

It would be a sprint enduro there. Plus if I'm not mistaken a club would have to sponsor and set up the event. Maybe TRH?

There is the disconnect in todays time and just a few years ago. I remember many riders who did not give a hoot about points. Just show up and ride when they can for the love of the sport. Now you have to adjust 2day venues, have certain kind of formats, have so many classes that half if not more get a 9 dollar trophy. If ya cant make staurday then ride sunday, if ya cant make sunday ride saturday. If you have promoted to a class you are not competative in then just keep personal info and see how you are doing compared to last time. I have a freind who shows up to 3 or 4 races a year and rides the A class. Finishes the race and never even walks up to the scoring booth. He says he just likes riding and dont care about the finish status. He is always in the top 10 in overall A. Crazy to think. Thats what is missing most in my opinion is riding simply for the love of the sport. How do you fix that?

If you figure that one out Sparkey then please let us know because you hit the nail on the head. Back in the day ( gotta love sentences that start with that) there were three classes, nine trophies and 400 plus riders. The challenge for all of us that love this sport is to see it perpetuate. THAT MEANS WE ALL HAVE TO BE PROMOTERS. To try and meet that challenge I will throw out a challenge. If every rider that came to even one of the races this year would bring a friend with him to the same race next year we would be well on our way, It is not just up to the TSECE board to attract new riders. IT IS UP TO US ( ALL of the TSCEC riders ) to promote the sport. Not everyone loves a challenge, but if you know someone that does, bring them to the next race.
