Hello,

I am looking to enter my first enduro at Brunes Mill this weekend. I am looking to get some info on how things work on an event like this. I have read the flyer, and have gathered all the info I could off of the tscec.org website. I have a CR125 so I plan to run the 200C class (correct me if I am wrong). Do I have to be a member of TRH to participate? How do start times/line ups work? How will a fuel stop work (if needed). Can I run the number on my bike or will I be assigned numbers? I have ridden at most of the local tracks around here but never an event like this so sorry for all the noob questions. Any info will help, and I hope to meet some new riders this weekend.

Thanks.

Adding on to your questions from a fellow noob...

1) For this sprint enduro, what is everyone carrying on their bikes? Is the toolkit fanny pack necessary, that I see recommended for trail/ normal enduros (if such thing) ? I don't see anyone in the sprint enduros here http://www.sprintenduro.com/ carrying anything. Just wondering what folks do at these type events.

2) Also wondering about the #'s. I don't have any on my bike.

Thanks!

1. For a sprint enduro, I wouldn't worry much about tools, unless carrying them makes no difference for you. For that matter, I probably wouldn't even carry any fluids. Each lap should take less than 20 minutes.

2. I don't think numbers matter like a hare scramble. Everyone is racing against the clock. If someone catches you, let them by as soon as reasonable to do safely.

Neither of the above are definitive answers and your mileage may vary.

And for those wondering about how the property handled Harvey, I was out there yesterday and the property is in great shape.

If they run it similar to the way they had it last year then this is how it will work. There are two different loops and the "C" class riders will be on one loop and the "A" & "B" riders on the other loop. In the morning you will have a set amount of time to complete the # of loops that are required(I.E. 2 hours to complete 3 loops). Then there will be a break of about an hour. You will switch loops and again have a set amount of time to complete the required # of loops. Each loop will start and end at camp so any bike work or refueling can be carried out at camp. Hope this helps and see ya this weekend. Also you will be assigned a number at sign in and provided a sticker with that # to put on your front number plate. This is just for backup at the check outs in case the electronic scoring does not work properly (but it will).

Awesome! What time do riders get there Sunday that don't camp overnight? Thank y'all for the info. This is the best info I have received yet. See y'all this weekend.

The bottom of the flyer says if you are not registered and signed in by 9am you are not riding so I would say the earlier the better.

I was going to say the same thing about the e-scoring, haha.

I hope the club puts the scorers on the inside of the final turn this time. I know I covered the equipment and workers every single time at the last race since they were sitting on the outside of the turn.
