The Stillwater Trailriders and BJEC welcome you to the 43rd annual Golden Eagle Enduro. This years format will be utilizing the sprint format. The Stillwater 500 riding area is a mix of tight trails through the woods with some quad trail mixed it. We have laid out a great race that will test both your endurance and your tight woods riding ability!

Few things to be aware of before race weekend!
1. All riders must be a Stillwater 500 member to ride, 1 day permits are available for $6. The $6 permit has been added to the total on the online registration. If you are a full time member a refund will be issued on site at registration.
2. 8AM start time on Sunday
3. PeeWee race on Saturday at 3PM
4. AMA membership not required
5. Spark arrestors not required but they are encouraged
6. We have expanded parking but the parking area is still smaller than some TSCEC venues, please park just a little closer to your neighbor than you normally would, they won't bite!
7. Online sign up and more info is aviablable on the Black Jack Enduro Championships website (www.blackjackenduro.org)
8. Riders are encouraged to finish your loops within the time slot, not wait until the last minute to start your test!
9. Primitive camping only no hook-ups
10. Special hotel rate Holiday Inn Express (HWY51 and Country club road, 10 minutes from race site). Make sure and tell them you are there for the Golden Eagle Enduro!

Course info-
Long course
8:00-10:30 ride EAST test section twice (12.3 miles per loop)
10:30-11:00 Lunch break
11:00-1:30 ride WEST/CENTER test section twice (14.5 miles per loop).
Total mileage- 53.6 miles

Total miles- 36.0

Super short-

Turn left (South) on Range Road for 1 mile. Turn right (west) on 56th street (gravel road), for 1/2 mile. Park will be on your left.

Just completed a few repairs on one of many creek crossings at the 500! Next weekends weather is looking great, we have had plenty of rain this weekend that will leave us with hero dirt next weekend! There will be zero dust, a few wet spots and tons of velcro to roost on!!!

Thank you to all who came out and raced the Golden Eagle, we had a great turnout and enjoyed putting on our first sprint! If you have any comments, thoughts, improvements, etc. please let us know so we can make changes for next year!

Scott - thank you and the whole team for putting on a great race. Looks like you guys had plenty of staff and everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful.

My only criticism (constructive, I hope): In my opinion, the loops were too long. I would have preferred loops 6-7 miles long. This was something we discussed in our pit area - the overall mileage for the day was perfect but we wish it had been broken up more.

Other than that, great first sprint. The trail was marked well, it had a nice flow, and it was cool to have some moto mixed in. The check-outs were clearly marked and the chutes were perfect. The HUGE signs and staging areas were a great touch. This was probably the most organized and customer-focused enduro I've been to. Nice work!

Thank you for the feedback, we are already brainstorming on how to make the loops shorter and still get a full days worth of mileage. Hope to see you next year!

You flew up that step-up, we like to throw in a little Moto just for some extra variety.
