TIME

We will begin riding at 9 A.M.
We will stop riding at 4 P.M.

Near the end of the day Sunday we will take down all the ribbons and arrows to get ready to begin marking the next event. If you bring me a bag of ribbon and arrows I will give your ride fee back as a thanks for your help to clean up the ranch or you can donate your ride fee to the club. Your choice. PLEASE, I need help doing this because it is too much for me to do by myself!

LINK TO AMSA MEMBERSHIP FORM
I always have membership forms at any AMSA event.

$30 per day for guests.

Pee Wee riders & beginner riders not riding the trail system may ride at a reduced rate, our discretion.

Four Wheeler's are welcome. However, we do not have a trail system set up for you. We do have jeep roads and fields that you may ride in.

No racing quads.

Dry Camping is free thanks to the McMahan's.

There are new electric hook-ups near the two barns.
30 Amp service is $20 per night.
50 Amp service is $25 per night.
First come, first served.

You may camp both Friday and Saturday night.

TRAILS - TERRAIN

We have a eight plus mile part Grande Prix style and some single track for you.

The ranch got some rain and the trails are sweet!

Soil is all sand or sandy loam. No rocks.

There are lots of area's for beginner's to ride in a field or jeep roads. Just ask us at the gate at sign in if you have special needs and we will direct you to what you want to ride.

This is a family oriented dirt bike club and we want to make things safe for family's and beginners and the young one's.

DIRECTIONS

LAT: 29.984019 LONG: -97.134377

From Austin. Take HWY 71 East to Smithville. There are three (3) exits in Smithville. You want to that the third (3rd) exit and stay on the feeder road to 230 (also named Old Lake that curves south). Turn right on 230 (Old Lake) for one quarter (1/4) mile. Turn left onto Old Lake Road and drive three quarters (3/4) of a mile to #290 Old Lake Road where you will see a large, light brown, pipe gate on your right. It has a iron sign that says "McMahan Ranch". From the entrance you will drive to the second (2nd) gate where you will see our EZ UP and sign in

You must sign-in BEFORE you ride.

Hope to see everyone out to have some fun riding and to enjoy the McMahan Ranch.

Thanks,
-The McMahan Family & AMSA

Thanks

I second that, thanks Larry! I've got the theme song from On Any Sunday in my head. Me and Steve McQueen will be there, one day or the other. See y'all this weekend.

The ranch has received between 3 and 4 inches of rain in the last two weeks which equates to awesomeness!
