Ok folks its that time again! Here is your first race check list....... good luck!
1. locate bike
2. ask spouse/children/neighbor where your bike is
3. kick bike for at least 30 minutes
4. drain the 3 month old gas from bike
5. put basket back on.....that one is for me
6. pull all muddy gloves out of trailer and wash
7. clean filters
8. order new filter since the old one fell apart when you cleaned it
9. find gear...
10. order new gear or try to lose 10 pounds in the next 4 days
11. clean camper
12. yell at kids for not throwing away 73 water bottles
13. find that you are now the proud owner of 17 unmatched race socks
14. look in the cracks beside the beds....that's where race socks like to live
15. Dang good number right there
16. get whats left of the last race's groceries......green bread mmmmmm
17. get the shop vac and suck up all the sand from the bottom of the shower......trust me it's easier
18. replace water lines/fixtures...again trust me on this one your gonna be really mad when you don't have water at the first race
19. remember the stuff you noticed was broke 3 months ago but you have "plenty" of time before the next season. fix it.....
20. wash the camel baks.............replace bladders cause "that sh!* aint coming out"
21. unless you have the flu then it's free antibiotics
22. wash your helmet but leave everyone else's there is nothing like that saturday morning "ewww my helmet reeks" bahahaha
23. Spend the next few days reflecting on how you never touched your bike all winter because your going to be too busy after the race kicking yourself and trying to regain feeling in your arms and hands

...and be sure to check your microwave after the last race so that you aren't asking why the are all these flies in your camper, then open up your microwave to find a green slump of something full of maggots. just sayin...

You forgot to get new goggles because you left them stretched over the front of your helmet and now they are like that pair of 15 year old underwear that keeps falling down whenever you walk.
