The park managers at City Park are trying to close the park for use by dirt bikes, probably mountain bikes as well. Review the following two links BEFORE you do anything. Then send an email to help in an effort to stop this.

You may or may not know that AMSA has been the sponsoring club for keeping City Park for the last 35-40 years. Whether you are an AMSA member or not join us in this effort to keep this park open for many generations to come!

Done.It is so cool that Austin has its own off-road motorcycle park.
I Have ridden there recently and hope to go more often as well.
It's kinda like having your own personnel enduro-cross track.

I followed the link and sent the pre-written message. Did you notice that it was sent to just ONE PERSON, Mayor Steve Alder. It listed all the city council members in red, and said it cannot send them messages because they do not have a public email address!!! The system is rigged against getting messages to the city council members. You would have to find phones numbers, email addresses for each member, and send individual messages. Still, let's bury the mayor with our messages.

Maddog, once the BCP has a property, they will never let it go. They have hundreds of acres next to our ranch, endangered bird habitat, and they let it grow up thick, bulldozed it and burned it. They have so many thousands of acres, they can screw up and mis-manage parts of it, clear it, burn it, and start over. If the rancher they took it from had done that, they would have put him in prison.
