1506 Flyer (SPRINT) The last round is here - I am dilligently working to get results online (and drops factored) this weekend. Thank you all for your patience! This season has flown by - be sure to let us know how everything went after the season wraps up (we will get banquet details out as soon as we can).

The land owner wants a sprint enduro. I also was hoping for a hare scramble, but it is what it is

This was a promoter based decision 100% - after a low turnout for their charity race in the older format, the crew wanted to try their hand at a Sprint format race. I know many people were looking forward to at least one more Hare Scramble this season, but this has been an interesting season with the Sprint popularity. Nothing is solidified for next year, so pass the feedback along (if it's constructive!) And we will weigh in with our board members after the season wraps up.

My 2cents. I think they will have a lower turn out then last time doing the sprint format. If it was its own series it would do better then it is right now. I think everyone was ready for a hare scramble. The sprint has messed up points for a lot of people. I know I am going to throw away the championship, because I am not spending over $200 to race for 24 miles in 4 hour time period. I hope they reconsider, because I believe they will be disappointed.

The turnout at the last event was low due to weather. A total mud race, tough on bikes and on many if us with medium skills who don't need anymore injuries.
