I just read the info and flyer for the 2016 series. Ok Im confused... First race is listed as Columbus. Which property would that be? The New Waverly event, is that in the SHNF? Lastly, I followed the link regarding sprint enduro and still cant tell if this is a "timed" event or the difference between it an a restart enduro. Can someone from TRH please shed some light.

thanks!
Nate

Nate, obviously more info will follow as the events get closer. The first race was slotted to be at Pistoleros in Eagle Lake/Columbus, but the property is under water, so we will probably have the event at the 1100. As this was still being evaluated, we gave a general location of the first event until we knew exactly where it would be. New Waverly is the SHNF. We use the closest town so new people will know the general location. Sprint Enduro is a "timed" event, and it is a restart format. If you go to the FAQ section on www.sprintenduro.com, I don't think I'd be able to explain it any better than they did. It specifically mentions that this is not a "time-keeping" event, if that's what you mean by "timed."

Hopefully this helps.

I am guessing that having the event at the 1100 will be covered under event liability insurance. Any word on when (if) the 1100 may open for general TRH membership use. My son Nate sure misses the convenience of riding out there!!

Mike, sorry for the late reply. Regarding insurane for events, we have many channels for obtaining insurance for our events and that has never been a problem. So yes, we will have insurance for these events. We wouldn't facilitate them otherwise. As for the GL for the property, we are just as frustrated as you, if not more. Lynn Bailey (TRH Prez) has been working dilligently (to say the least) to obtain insurance so we can open the 1100 back up to our members. Unfortunately, I can't tell you when that's going to be, but we hope sooner than later. The good news is, we are still in good standing with the property owner, and once we have insurance, our lease will be good to go. So we're just waiting on that d*** insurance. As soon as we know, you'll know. Some friendly advice; for the 2015 TRH/1100 members that renew their general ($45.00) membership before we open the property back up, you will be pleasantly surprised once we can open it back up. I encourage you to join TRH for the year sooner than later.
